New England matched their top unbeaten stretch from the Brady period as they defeated division rivals the Jets by 13 points in the NFL

But the Patriots responded in the second quarter as the rookie scored two seven-yard TDs before the ball carrier hauled in a throw from Drake Maye at the back of the endzone in the middle of the third period to extend the lead to 21 to 7

"It was a big time for him delivering, and it's been excellent for him to keep earning playing time," the quarterback said of Henderson. "He desires to be excellent."

Justin Fields connected with John Metchie late in the third quarter to reduce the lead for the visitors but Borregales kicked a pair of field goals in the fourth quarter as the Patriots wrapped up the win
